I am pleased to announce that my latest article ‘The Tension of Truth. Free Speech and the Avvisi’ has been published in the volume Religion and Freedom of Expression in the Early Modern Period: Practices and Ideas in Post-Reformation Europe edited by Silke Muylaert, Francesco Quatrini, and Nina Schroeder.
The article is the result of the research undertaken for one of my dissertation chapters, and subsequently further developed during my postdoctoral period in DC.
